01 about me

Louis is a lead LX/UX designer making complex concepts simpler via the application of modern LX (Learning Experience), UX (User Experience), and visual communication to end-users.

He is a talented, pragmatic, positive, optimistic, and compassionate individual and former mentor to students at RMIT University which helped them achieve their goals and kept himself up to date with modern trends.

Outside of work, Louis pushes himself to the extreme with obstacle course races such as Spartan where he is a brand ambassador whilst raising a family with his wife and 2 children.

Additionally, he is currently drafting a book on how his near-death experience can help others overcome adversity in their lives.

I graduated with an final pass mark of 95.77% from the School of Information.

This is the prelude to the full Masters program to be introduced (online) in the near future.

I graduated with a pass mark of 95.73% and I learned how to conduct user studies with a graphic flare. This specialization was heavy on user testing and needs finding, ah and prototyping.

I currently work in eLearning and my role is not only to help develop training and development but also any engineering graphics in a Marine environment, including Engineering Drawing. I also assist the Communications Team with Graphic Design.

SMA OPERATIONS

UX, UI Design and Engineering Drawing
I worked producing training and development imagery and assisted with training aids, general web graphics and graphic design.

Most of this was for the Australian Navy while I was attached to TSF (Training Services Faculty) at HMAS Cerberus.

This was my own business where I perform different roles from basic graphic & web design to User Experience, Customer Experience and research.

Covid was the catalyst for me to reassess my priorities and I decided I no longer wanted to work on weekends and started having more time with my family and loved ones.
